Jordan Didier, a 6'8.5" 210lb big man, labeled by espn.com as a major sleeper on the west coast this past recruiting cycle, ended up going the prep route and is enrolled at Westwind Prep International (WPI). Despite interests from D1 schools and an offer specifically from UTSA, Jordan decided to hone his skills, bulk up and re-enter the recruiting cycle for the 2011 class.

Jordan has already gotten stronger and has put on about 15-20 pounds. Has legit 6'8" size and is closer to 6'9", has nice length, good athleticism, has developed low post moves and can face up and shoot the jump shot. Recently Jordan stood out in performing at the Alabama Elite camp and has garnered some interest from the Tide. While at WPI he's improving his all around game and getting to focus on his grades and is really liking the benefits of going the prep route.

Improvement in Jordan's game have landed him offers from Colorado State, Montana State and San Francisco. Other schools such as San Diego, San Diego State, and Portland are just some of the other schools who continue to monitor Jordan as well. As for UTSA, Assistant Coach Jeff Renegar watched a couple of Jordan's circuit games this past season, but contact has gone kind of sparse since the July evaluation period.

In choosing a university, Jordan will be looking for student involvement and support around the basketball team. Academics are a must, a good solid college atmosphere with school spirit is what Jordan really wants. Distance does not matter, Jordan feels he will go wherever the right fit is for him. Don't look for Jordan to decide or sign a letter of intent come November, he plans on weighing his options even if that means waiting until the spring of 2011.

Stay tuned for any updates.....

Sounds like we've kind of moved on? So does this mean his offer is still good for 2011?
