Yes, the start to the College football season is just a few days away. Although the Runners don't put on the pads for another full year, RunnerNation has been licking at the chops for another schedule to come out, the basketball schedule. Although the full schedule has not been released, UTSATailgaters was able to confirm more non-conference opponents that will be facing the Runners this coming fall.

Nov. 17th @ Evansville (Missouri Valley Conf.)
Dec. 2nd @ Cal Riverside (Big West Conf.)
Dec. 4th @ Pepperdine (West Coast Conf.)
Dec. 30th @ Bowling Green (Mid American Conf.)
TBA vs San Jose State (WAC)

Brooks Thompson and his staff will be breaking in eight new signees and six of which are true freshman. The Runners have added some much needed height and athleticism and although very young, could be a surprise in the not so deep SLC. The Runners will be led by All everything guard, Devin Gibson. These are in addition to games already confirmed by UTSATailgaters (@ Tulsa, @ OSU, vs Troy).

Also, UTSATailgaters.com has learned that the UH game on the road at Hofheinz Pavillion has been set for Dec. 11th, but the time is still not officially set. The game falls on a Saturday so can RunnerNation say, ROAD TRIP!!!

Stay tuned for any further scheduling updates..........

Ok, scratch the Judkins comment. I read from the TAMCC website that Judkins did sign. So, I guess we will see how that one plays out.

Please no Texas Weslyan, EC Oklahoma or McMurry! There's only a couple of spots left! You know we have to have UT-Pan Am somewhere on there, if not once maybe even twice.

Ok, correction! I just looked at the UT Pan Am schedule and we're not on there! What the heck is going on? Maybe we still have some more legitimate games left with the couple of remaning spots?

@ Goutsa - I agree with you. Are we going to have any home non-conference games? The only one I've seen so far is Troy State.

Tbird728, Don't forget San Jose State too. So, we play each division opponent 2x, that's 10 games right there & each team in the East once, so that's another 6 games, total is 16 conf games. There's been 9 non-conf games confirmed and of those only 2 our at home (Troy & San Jose State). Total of games so far is 25. That still leaves us with maybe 4 or spots for games & I hope they're home games. We had a schedule of 30 games last year. I wish Brooks would get a decent C-USA non conf team in the convo. I think UTEP, UAB or even Tulsa would be solid!

I am absolutely pumped the boys are coming out West!! **Open invitation to Runnernation** Me and Mrs. Utsagrad1998 would be more than happy to host any Runner fans out here in SoCal for the December games in Riverside and Malibu. It would be fantastic to see UTSA representing in the West Coast. I will start a thread in the forum section to gauge interest. UTSA Tailgating nationwide!!
